Establishment of Biga Faculty of Applied Sciences,  upon the proposal of our University Senate with the decision 2/12 of 22/02/2010 and the establishment of Biga School of Applied Sciences has been realized with the publication of the Council of Ministers Decision no 2011/2018 in the Official Gazette dated 03/07/2011 and numbered 27983.

With the decision of the School Board of the Biga School of Applied Sciences, which was taken on 11/05/2017, an application was made to become a Faculty on 12/05/2017. It has been stated that the application to become a Faculty, which was discussed and approved in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Senate, with the letter of Higher Education Council dated 06/07/2017 and numbered 75850160-101.01-520, the application was approved and sent to the Ministry of National Education for publication. With the announcement published in the Official Gazette dated 06 December 2017 and numbered 30262, the School was converted into Biga Faculty of Applied Sciences.

There are two active departments within the Biga Faculty of Applied Sciences: International Trade and Logistics, Banking and Finance. The International Trade and Logistics Department started its education in 2013-2014 by taking its first students and its first students graduated in the 2016-2017 period.

The Banking and Finance Department started its first education and training activities in the 2017-2018 academic year, with 60 students quota.

Biga Faculty of Applied Sciences continues its educational activities in its newly built service building as of 2019-2020 Academic Year.

It is aimed to support the development and growth of our country by opening new departments in our faculty and training students with the equipment needed by the future.
